job detailsjob summary:The Global Pricing - Position supports the Global Pricing lead in the development and implementation of global pricing and access strategies for pipeline and corporate development assets to inform access and global revenue optimization business cases. The role will partner with regional representatives to ensure that new products' relevant pricing strategies are identified (in collaboration with various cross functional teams including Market Access, GV/HEOR, GSMI and forecasting) to ensure the regional access perspective is included into clinical and commercial development strategies. These activities should result in aligned global pricing and access strategies that inform each product's commercial development business cases.Exceptional partnering abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build alignment and influence across internal functions and geographies will lead to successful performance in this assignment. Support global pricing and market access assessments for assigned pipeline products through active participation in commercial development functional matrix team meetings (FMTs)
Work with early-stage pipeline providing pricing and market access perspectives into the evidence generation and product development plans
Lead pricing/access research studies and analyses to help inform pricing and market access business case assumptions for pipeline products and new product planning opportunities
Support partnerships Commercial, GV/HEOR, forecasting, GSMI and regional (US & EU/Int'l) market access teams to inform and advise pricing and market access analyses conducted on pipeline assets
Monitor ongoing changes and trends in pricing and access policies across the globe, adjusting pricing strategies and policies to account for these changes (e.g., IRA)
Maintain pricing and access business assumptions and supporting research documentation including pricing research, trend analysis, analog case studies, etc.
qualifications:Qualifications
A robust in-depth understanding of global pricing and market access frameworks and analyses
Experience in a global, multi-cultural or multi-country pricing/market access environment is preferred
Prior experience in oncology and neuroscience is preferred
Prior experience with specialty therapies is preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Solid leadership potential/skill with proven ability to influence without authority, work effectively with cross-functional teams
Highly developed collaboration skills, including consensus building, information sharing, and communication of priorities and expectations across functions in a matrix environment
Strong industry knowledge
Capable of carrying out assigned functions independently in an expeditions and thoughtful manner
High integrity with respect to maintenance of proprietary and confidential information
Strong technical pharma pricing background balanced with strategic creativity
Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
BS in related discipline and 7+ years' experience or MS/MBA/PHD degree in related discipline and 5+ years of related experience
Strong preference for global experience in a strategic biopharma pricing role; if not, requires experience in U.S. pricing and demonstrated ability to work/think globally
