Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is crucial within our team, with the main function being to assist with a Windows 11 Migration. The Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for tasks including assisting with computer breakdowns and installations, intake calls for IT issues, and providing hands-on assistance carrying equipment to various locations in the building.Responsibilities: Oversee the migration to Windows 11 across the organization Handle IT-related queries and issues via intake calls Assist in the breakdown and installation of computer systems Provide physical assistance in moving equipment around the premises Apply skills in Android Development, Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, and Computer Hardware Utilize knowledge of Dell Technologies and Active Directory to maintain and troubleshoot systems Manage and support Apple Devices within the organization Implement Backup Technologies for data protection and recovery Perform Configuration Management to ensure system stability and efficiency. Requirements Proficiency in Android Development, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve related issues. Solid understanding of Cisco Technologies, including ability to install, configure, and maintain Cisco systems. Experience with Citrix Technologies, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem resolution. Knowledge of Computer Hardware, capable of identifying, repairing, and replacing components as needed. Familiarity with Dell Technologies, with the ability to manage and maintain Dell systems and hardware. Proficiency in Active Directory, including user and group management, security, and troubleshooting. Experience with Apple Devices, capable of supporting and troubleshooting Apple hardware and software. Knowledge of Backup Technologies, with the ability to implement, monitor, and maintain backup solutions. Experience with Configuration Management, including understanding of methodologies and tools for maintaining system consistency.
