Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Database Developer in the Financial Services industry, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Database Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust database systems. You will also play a significant role in enhancing data integration processes and optimizing database performance.Responsibilities: Develop and maintain reliable, high-performing database systems. Construct efficient SQL code for diverse applications. Drive database performance optimization initiatives. Analyze and address database performance issues, ensuring data integrity and security. Foster improvements in data integration processes between on-premise and cloud data stores. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and deliver on data needs. Leverage cloud technologies to deliver innovative data solutions. Utilize tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Provide production support outside standard business hours on a rotational basis. Leverage programming languages like C#, Java, or Python for data analytics and scripting tasks. Requirements Proven experience in the Financial Services industry Proficiency in Cloud Technologies Strong understanding and experience with Database Object Hands-on experience with Informatica Familiarity with MapR technologies Proficient in using Microsoft SQL Server Strong knowledge of AB Testing methodologies Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) Ability to understand and translate Business Requirement Document Experience in creating Dashboards Proficient in handling various Data Sources Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
