In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your abilities in all areas of analytics development, but you will bring a specific focus on applied AI/ML & NLP (Natural Language Processing) in order to automate and scale the insight generation process and develop predictive indicators of impact based on unstructured and semi-structured data.In this role, you will strengthen your technical skills by contributing to every stage of the analytics lifecycle including defining a business question, ingesting and transforming data, training and validating models, and deploying and monitoring production systems. All the while, you will be developing a deep understanding of the patient and physician experience across multiple disease states and therapeutic areas as you partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to create capabilities and models that incorporate the scientific, medical, and clinical landscape to highlight patient and provider needs and perspectives.Responsibilities

The expected deliverables, outputs, and accountabilities for this role include:

Developing AI/ML models that enable data-driven decision making for Medical Affairs stakeholders.

Creating metrics and visualizations that show change over time in leading indicators of medical impact.

Creating and refining tools for enriching, aggregating, and reporting on data and insights, particularly focusing on unstructured data sources.

Contributing to the deployment and maintenance of production-quality self-service analytics tools and applications.

Effectively communicating findings and their impact to partners and stakeholders.

Adhering to data privacy standards and data governance practices

Participating and contributing to team improvement, including knowledge sharing and process improvement initiativesWhy you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

A bachelor's degree (BA or BS) with 2-3 years of professional experience in the domain of applied AI, analytics, or machine learning ormaster's degree (MA or MS) in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or related field

Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML model, NLP methods and techniques.

Experience in evaluating data and understanding their implications.

Experience in scripting and querying languages including Python & SQL, Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration

Experience in data security, privacy and AI ethics

Experience in Data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau and cloud platforms for data storage and computing.Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

A master's degree in the fields listed above with 2-3 years of professional experience in the domain of applied AI, analytics, or machine learning.

A strong analytic mindset and problem-solving abilities

A track-record of excellent communication skills, especially related to explaining technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience

An aptitude for working within ambiguity and complexity
