Job Duties:
Supervise all accounting operations including AR, AP, daily bookkeeping, and weekly employee payroll utilizing Cargowise (ERP system), QuickBooks, and ADP Workforce Now
Manage team of accountants; Participate in hiring and training process; Assign and follow up on tasks and adjust workload
Manage company cash flow and assist with financial planning, including perform billing and payment projections and loan tracking
Perform analysis of assets, COGS, and revenue to help determine optimal markup for targeted profitability
Direct month-end and year-end closing procedures and facilitate bank reconciliations
Prepare financial statements and conduct audits of general ledger accounts, adhering to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards
Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2 year work experience in accounting
Proficiency in Excel
