We look forward to meeting you!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Clerical Assistant 2, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of reports, forms, and correspondence by typing from handwritten or computer generated notes in order to meet state and federal requirements. Duties also involve maintaining files and transcribing dictation and handwritten information in a typed format in order to complete work of assigned staff in a timely manner. This professional completes accurate data entry to create and maintain referral and record information within the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS). Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be interfacing with the public and other professionals when answering phone calls, documenting detailed messages, and forwarding information to the appropriate parties to ensure delivery of services.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Philadelphia.
Salary:Most employees will start at the beginning level of the advertised salary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
Graduation from high school; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
