Applicant Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN
Have reliable transportation to and from clients (drivers preferred but not required)
Must have two professional references
All Caregivers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to provide care to Consumers
Available for 15+ hours per week during high-volume care hours (7 AM - 10 PM).
Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations
Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and assistance to patients Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Medication reminders
Assistance with meal preparation
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to home care agency
Skills:
Ability to provide direct patient care and follow care plans
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
The ability to lift and transfer clients as needed
Must be reliable and punctual
Please note that a nursing background or certification is not mandatory for this position, but experience in caregiving or a related field is required.
