The Kindergarten Bridge Program seeks an Assessment Specialist to support the planning and implementation of the evaluation tools for the Summer Kindergartens Bridge Program, a summer transition to school program for rising Kindergarten students. The Assessment Specialist will work closely with the AFEL Program Manager and SOE Director of Strategic Partnerships to revise and implement student assessment, family survey, and teacher survey.
Essential Functions
Training
Lead staff training on conducting assessment.
Participate in Training Week.
Assessment Implementation
Conduct pre/post Student Assessment.
Conduct Family Survey during Week 4/5.
Conduct Teacher Survey during Week 5.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze assessment data.
Measure student, family and teacher experiences.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in data collection, data management and data analysis.
Experience administering assessments and evaluation tools.
Experience working with young children (ages 0-8).
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment.

Additional Information
This is a Part-time Temporary position classified as non-exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
