Assemble or fit together Fluid Film and/or Rolling Element parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench, or on the floor. Work may involve the use of hand tools, power tools, and special equipment in order to carry out fitting and assembly operations. Includes assemblers whose duties are of a non-precision nature. Analyze specifications and define tool requirements. Apply knowledge of metal properties, shop mathematics, and required operations. Studies blueprint to visualize requirements to be done, and plans sequence of operations. Verifies conformance of assembly to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as gauges, calipers, and micrometer. Will be required to have specialized experience with particular material, product, precision level, assembly process, or size, type, or trade name of equipment required.As the Assembler - Fluid Film/Rolling Element, the team member will:

Fastens component parts of assembly together, using hand tools, power tools, or bench machines.

Positions, fits, or aligns parts on workbench, floor, or machine, following blueprints, diagrams, guides, holes, reference marks, or work orders.

Drills, taps, or reams holes to prepare parts for assembly. Files, grinds, or buffs parts to remove burrs, alter shape, improve fit, or smooth finish, using hand tools or power tools.

Applies adhesive, bonding agent, sealant, or paint to surface of material by brushing, spraying, dipping, or rolling.

Bends, crimps, or presses materials to specified shape or curvature, using hand tools, bending machine, or pressing machine.

Lifts, loads, sorts, and moves materials, supplies, and finished products between storage and work areas, using push-cart, hoist, or dolly. Holds parts during assembly, using hands, clamps, pneumatic tools, or other work aides.

Measures and marks reference lines and points on parts according to specifications, using template, rule, or other marking device.

Cuts materials into specified dimensions or shapes.

Reads process charts, work orders, blueprints, or other specifications to determine assembly sequence, machine and tooling requirements, measurements, and tolerances.

Inspects, tests, and verifies accuracy of assembled article for conformance to standards, using measuring or testing equipment, or by visual examination.

Adjusts, repairs, or replaces defective product parts.

Cleans dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign matter from material or machine surfaces, using cleaning solution, rag, or air hose.

Stamps, labels, or otherwise marks product or packages with identifying data

Product Inspection - Inspecting and evaluating the quality of products utilizing the latest inspection tools and techniques as r quired.

Testing - Conducting tests to determine whether equipment, software, or procedures are operating as expected.

Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.

Mathematics - Using mathematics to solve problems.

Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job

Troubleshooting - Determines cause of operation error and decides what to do.

Problem Identification - Identifying the nature of problems.

Active Learning - Working with new material or information to grasp its implications.

Solution Appraisal - Observing and evaluating the outcomes of a problem solution to identify lessons learned or redirect efforts.

Time Management - Managing one's own time.

Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.Required Education and Experience:
