Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.SUMMARY: To monitor the operation of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) Warehouse and process material orders for Production and Shipping.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING (OTHER DUTIES MAYBE ASSIGNED):
Responsible for the proper operation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).· Maintain material flow both in and out of the ASRS which includes determining priorities anddetermining which tasks get sent out in which order to which crane if required.· Resolve all crane faults as necessary· Responsible for notifying the Supervisor in the event of inventory inaccuracies or craneoperational issues.· Insure that all tasks that are aborted are properly processed.· Resolve all conveyor backups HC, RC, etc. when applicable.· Process Production material requests through JD Edwards.· Perform inventory look-ups/run FEFO reports in JDE and order material from the high-rise orcommunicate to supervisor or warehousers material requests for non-high-rise stored material.· Direct warehousers as necessary in the absence of the warehouse supervisor.· Perform inventory transfers and over-rides as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy and flowof material to Production.· Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures.· Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: On occasions will supervise hourly personnel.EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT: High School GraduateEXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT:1-2 years of experience in a production or warehouse environment.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math and computer competencyCOMPUTER SKILLS: Knowledge of JDE systemPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:· Knowledge of JDE system· Basic math and computer competency· Capability to maintain focus and appropriate demeanor in a fast-paced environment· Good interpersonal communication· Capability to organize and manage job priorities.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:· Ability to use ladder/stairwell to heights· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by anemployee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
