The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Perform routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.Execute specific and limited portions of broader assignments.Spend a large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and conducting walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes.Report on installed quantities and perform field inspections to verify adherence to design specifications.Assist in the preparation and review of engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to support ongoing projects.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and progress reports.Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on technical issues and project progress.Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets using appropriate software tools.Conduct research on engineering standards, codes, and best practices relevant to assigned projects.Support the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documentation.Assist in the coordination of activities between various project stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies.Contribute to the development of project proposals and cost estimates for new business opportunities.Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.Adhere to AECOM's safety protocols and promote a culture of safety in all work activities.
