Piper Companies is looking for a Junior Network Engineer for a large healthcare provider in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities for the Junior Network Engineer:- Participate in the routing/switching and other network maintenance projects for brand new state-of-the-art facility
- 1 year of Network Engineering/Network Analyst experience
- Routing/switching knowledge
- Cabling experience - CAT 5/6
- Understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) - ideal
- Understanding of LAN technologies, WAN technologies, Internet, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, NAT, IP telephony, and firewalls.
- Net+ certification - a plus
- $21/hr W2 (6+ month contract)
