The Lotus W.E.L.L. Counseling Services & Wellness Retreat is a nonprofit, therapeutic organization with a primary focus on making mental health and alternative treatment options accessible to the community. We strive to accomplish this goal by empowering our clients and members, neighbors and helping professionals through resources, education, evaluation, and interactive experiences.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Job Success Coach to join our team. The Job Success Coach will be responsible for providing career counseling, job search strategies and assistance to individuals seeking employment or career advancement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of helping individuals develop and achieve career goals and will be comfortable working with diverse populations and people with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement job search strategies, including resume development, interview preparation, and networking.

Conduct assessments to determine job readiness and skill gaps.

Provide guidance on job application processes and follow-up activities.

Assists individuals with disabilities to find and keep jobs in the community.

Actively work with employers once our clients are placed to maintain the health of the professional relationship.

Provide on-site support to individuals in order to help them adjust to the workplace and the routine of getting to and from work.

Once the individual becomes acclimated to their job and environment, continue to evaluate and monitor the site and offer support when needed.

Train individuals on how to navigate the public transportation system in order to get to their work sites and other places of significance in the community.

Facilitate work readiness, life skills and self-advocacy groups to students and adults at educational and worksites when scheduled.

Requirements:

High School Diploma

6 + months of work experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working with diverse populations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.

Open to working and being trained to work with individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities preferred.

A clear FBI clearance, Criminal Background, Child Abuse clearance and NSOR.

Type: Part-time/In-person/Field Work

This position is very flexible and is ideal for a student or an adult who has flexibility during the week and maybe some weekends (although weekends are rare).

Having a license is a plus!
