A private family residing in Lansdale PA seeks an experienced & energetic Educator / Housekeeper to assist with daily household affairs and help supervise three (3) children. (age 15, 12, 4). The 4 year old follows a daily regiment that includes, an educational curriculum, physical activities and creative thinking. The other two children are self sufficient and currently working under a home school program.
The ideal candidate is an educator, has great attention to detail, articulate and comes with at least 5years of toddler-care experience.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Help with the day-to-day upkeep of the household
Assisting with the daily care, supervision and education of children while creating a fun, safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
Coordinating activities for children, especially educational and recreational activities
Assisting with homework and projects
Preparing healthy family-style meals from scratch and or can follow a recipe. (Health Conscience Household)
Lite Housekeeping and organization
Traveling during summertime with the family is a plus
Procuring household supplies and grocery shopping
Running errands and carrying out special requests
This is a full-time, live-in or live-out position, accommodations would be provided by the family on or off the property.
Typical schedule is Monday – Friday.
Requirements
Certificate in CPR and First Aid is a huge plus
Minimum of 5 years related private home experience
Excellent references from both current and previous employers
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Must have a strong command of the English language
Flexible to travel
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Flexibility with hours and scheduling
Valid driver’s license
