The responsibility of the Childcare Provider is to maintain a safe and fun environment for the children in their care, which may range from infants to school aged. Their duties include developing creative and educational activities, preparing and serving snacks to children and maintaining a clean environment for the children.
Required Skills and Experience:
A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go together.
Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification required. If not certified the company will refer you to a qualifying service provider to achieve this training within 30 days of hire.
Must submit a minimum of 2 years documented and verifiable experience working with children
Must possess or be committed to obtain all necessary background checks and clearances before start date
Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Childcare Provider duties and responsibilities:
Childcare Providers are responsible for the well-being of the children under their care. They must monitor the children all day to ensure that they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner.
Some of their typical duties include:
Ensuring the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary
Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day
Preparing snacks for the kids
Organizing activities and implementing curriculum provided
Adhering to the daily schedule for the children throughout the day
Keeping records of each child’s progress, interests and any problems that may occur
Maintaining contact with the children’s parents and contacting them in the case of an emergency
Flexible schedule candidates preferred.
Shifts include 7:30am - 4:00pm
