Construction Project Manager(Delaware County, Chester County, & Montgomery County)

Full Time OR Contracted- Needed for immediate hire

5 Day work week

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. Preferably those looking for steady work and a long term relationship.

The ideal candidates are well organized and take great pride in their work. They possess a strong work ethic and communication abilities, as well as a keen eye for detail. They must have his/her own transportation and tools and are willing to travel within the Delaware County, Chester County and Montgomery county areas.

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our team, combining office planning with leadership and field operations management responsibilities. The primary focus of your role will involve performing project management duties, constituting on average 70-80% of your time. We do ask with your experience and advanced skills that you jump in and help out on projects as well as assist in estimation and other planning activities.

Job Duties:

- Assist in estimation

- Setup work orders, budget and timeline for projects

o Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

o Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met

o Assign craftsmen according to skill, experience and project needs

o Work with shop manager to ensure proper inventory and material availability

- Leadership

o Develop, train, mentor assist craftsmen

o Assist in the hiring of Craftsmen and Assistants

o Hiring the right people and putting them on the right sites, as well as reprimanding and disciplining workers when needed

- Manage projects through lifecycle, liaison with customer, team, and office staff

o Communicate project status and issues regularly with office staff / PHH management team

o Ensure project stays within budget and timeline

 Avoid unnecessary expenses

o Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities

o Regular job site visits

o Coordinating tasks by different people on different sites to ensure uniformity to project completion

o Managing both internal and external risks within the project’s lifetime, such as poor planning designs, and government involvement, budget changes, which directly or indirectly affect the project

o Vendor coordination

- SOP – establish SOP and “How Tos” for common tasks / projects

- Promoting and helping to attain new business

o Install signs at each site

o Ensure craftsman attire, behavior are appropriate

- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
