Our Certified Public Accounting firm has a position available for a junior accountant. If you have no tax return preparation experience, you will have the opportunity to be trained. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in public accounting.
Responsibilities include:
- QuickBooks Desktop: Write-up, reconciliations, journal entries, generating 1099s
- QuickBooks Payroll: Creating paychecks, calculating deposits, preparing payroll tax returns
- Sales Tax: Calculating & filing sales tax returns
- Correspondence with clients and government agencies
Additional duties include answering the phone, scheduling appointments, email communications, filing, and scanning.
