Strengthen company’s trading expertise in N. America elctrc mrkts, using knowledge of transmission planning & Independent System Operators/Regional Transmission Organizations mrkt ops. RQMTS: Master’s in Electrical/Financial Eng, Math, Physics, Comp Sci or a rel, plus 2 yrs of exp that involves economic modeling of large scale power systems. Must incl. 2 yrs of unit commitment, economic dispatch & optimal power flow using Dayzer, PROMOD, MAPS, PowerWorld, Panorama or related power modeling SW; OR 2 yrs of running generation stack models or statistical models resulting in either forecasted power flows or forecasted LMP prices. Will also accept Bachelor's plus 5 years of exp that involves economic modeling of large scale power systems.
