If you are self-motivated, highly energetic and reliable, then we want to hear from you!Here's what you will do:Operate all station prime movers and compressors, including start, stop, load adjustment, alarm monitoring and initial response as required.Recognizes and reacts to abnormal conditions associated with duties.Monitors unit functions during normal operations and performs periodic checks of all operating variables.Sets up station in various operating modes based on system demands.Monitors, operates and performs routine inspections on station air systems, fuel systems, cooling water systems, oil systems, and safety systems.Supervises operational pressures and alarm set points.Operates station auxiliary operational equipment.Operates all station valves.Monitors operation of station filter systems and liquids storage systems.Completes reports accurately and completely.Advises other employees in performance of routine operational duties.Assists others in routine troubleshooting and repair of station equipment.Involved in planning work and contributing budget related information as required, consistent with the annual budgeting process.Consistently works in a safe, responsible manner and actively participates in safely related programs.Actively participates as a work group team member and maintains a cooperative work relationship with fellow employees.Performs work in compliance with Company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies, such as Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.Performs all duties as assigned.Who you are:A high school diploma or equivalent.A valid Driver's license.Five years of directly relevant training and experience.Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, on call and standby, and travel overnight as required.Must be able to perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions.Currently reside or is willing to reside within a 30-mile radius from the facility you are assigned.Desired SkillsPossesses the desire to learn and advance, as a Station Operator.Solid understanding of operations used in maintenance and repair of pipelines and operational equipment.Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training, formal education, and/or experience.Computer literate with solid understanding of Excel and Word.Able to work independently with little to no direction.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Able to work and contribute to a team environment where inclusiveness, integrity, honestly and openness are valued.Proven ability to drive and perform job safely.Innovative problem solver without compromising SOPs.Willing to assume responsibility and take initiative to resolve issues.Working Conditions:An Office based position with large amounts of field time to support and understand Area Operations needs.May spend time in the field as required to support projects or area operations (approx. travel time, up to 25% no more than 1 full week at a time)High heat exposure risk in fieldExtensive driving to reach field locations.Company paid international relocation is not offered for this role.Enbridge provides driven workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
