QCA Technician

EARTHRES, a Division of RESPEC, seeks a CQA Technician to support our Pipersville location. The Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Technician is responsible for performing construction quality assurance inspections and maintaining detailed documentation for Energy and Civil Engineering projects. This role works closely with Construction Inspection Management and Project Managers to ensure project specifications, standards, and timelines are met.  Additional responsibilities include:Perform construction quality assurance observation / inspections for Solid Waste, Environmental and Civil Construction Projects which include but is not limited to soils, concrete, concrete reinforcement, geosynthetics, and mechanical (piping) systems observation / testingPerform soils testing including nuclear and non-nuclear gage density / compaction testing & proof roll testingRead and understand engineering plans / details, technical specifications, and other project documents as needed to understand and perform project CQA requirementsPerform coordination with soils / geotechnical testing and geosynthetic testing laboratoriesPerform environmental inspection for E&S controls and Permit ComplianceMonitor on-site contractors and work performed. Coordinate tasks and any deviation with the original design with the teams and project managerCreate project documentation including daily field reports, testing reports and document equipment used and equipment idle on locationCoordinate with project managers and staff, on-site contractors, and clients the timeline of the completion of project milestonesDuring periods of no CQA field work, assist with other field service programs such as but not limited to AutoCAD drafting, Operations, and Engineering Support Services
