Trumbull Corporation is seeking qualified truckers who are independent contractors and sole owner and operator of vehicle(s) for hauling broken concrete, dirt & rock on the Bellefonte Interchange project (construction of a high-speed interchange between I-99 and I-80) in Bellefonte, PA. QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be the sole owner and sole operator of the truck used to perform all hauling services and at all times must be the only individual operating the truck
Must have a truck in good working condition with up to date inspection, current registration and a minimum hauling capacity of 20 tons
Must furnish a copy of a current, valid drivers license covering the size and type of truck(s) to be used in performance of the hauling services
Must furnish a copy of a current registration card for all trucks to be used in performance of hauling services
Must furnish a copy of your certificate of insurance for all trucks to be used for hauling services performed on the project with automobile liability coverage of $500,000 minimum for combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage
Trumbull Corporation shall be named as an additional insured on the insurance certificate
Must agree to all terms and conditions of the Truck Owner-Operator Hauling Service Agreement
Must complete the Owner-Operator application and submit the application with all required paperwork.
No contract will be executed until all qualifications are met and verified. The main office will issue a contract with the execution date. Owner-operators will be made available for employment once an executed contract is issued. An executed contract will only be implemented after all qualifications have been submitted and verified.
Post executed agreement:
Trucker services are rendered based on executed contract date, daily scheduling needs, location of deliveries and type(s) of material to be delivered
Trucker is responsible for verifying daily work hours with Company foreman (trucking tickets) and submitting weekly invoices to Trumbull Corporation for payment of services
Trucker is responsible for all associated cost incurred in the operation of the vehicle (this includes but not limited to maintenance, repair, fuel, and upkeep of vehicle)
Trucker is responsible for keeping a copy of valid license, registration and insurance on file at all times; failure to keep information current will cause removal from the availability list
Each Truck Owner-Operator Hauling Service Agreement is project specific and is terminated at the end of the project; Trumbull Corporation has the right to terminate the agreement at any time
Trumbull Corporation is not responsible for withholding taxes with relation to the trucker's payment nor is Trumbull Corporation responsible for benefits of any kind
