Labor Staffers is staffing for a Temp to Perm Janitorial Manager. Most of the work will be in State College, with some in Lock Haven and some in Altoona. This will be a temp to hire position and will be a salaried role.
Hours will be from 5:30/6:00 PM to 1 AM/4 AM shift with on call over the weekends and 1 weekend off per month. Will have 10 cleaners reporting to you. Must have 2 years of experience as a Custodial Manager. Will oversee 10 cleaners
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for cleaning scheduled accounts, helping employees covering call offs, covering accounts when owners are out of town and making sure all accounts have chemicals and paper products
-Making sure all employees have the right equipment, and making sure the warehouse is stocked with all products
- Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
-must be a strong cleaner, hours will be 40-55 hours per week
Skills:
- Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Proficiency in floor care techniques such as buffing
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning tasks
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
