Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Bellefonte, PA. This role provides hands-on experience in construction project planning, coordination, and execution. Working under the direct supervision of a Project Manager (PM), you will support key project functions, gain exposure to engineering principles, field operations, and project management processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure efficient workflow.
Review design documents, specifications, and project drawings to support construction execution.
Participate in cost estimation, procurement, and material management to optimize project resources.
Collaborate with engineers, field teams, and subcontractors to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project plans, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Assist in the preparation and tracking of submittals, RFIs, and change order documentation.
Gain exposure to construction safety protocols, contract administration, and project reporting.
Qualifications
Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with construction project workflows, scheduling, and cost control.
Experience with CAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and estimating software.
Basic knowledge of construction contracts, RFIs, and submittal processes.
