Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description and We are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be based in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania area. The successful candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, primarily revolving around the management of customer accounts and the execution of financial tasks in compliance with standard accounting principles.Responsibilities: Ensure timely preparation of client invoices using the accounting software system and other related software Handle the invoicing on a weekly basis and maintain an organized and updated record for accounts Address client questions related to invoicing Record payments through cash receipts to clients’ accounts and process phone-in credit card payments Perform account reconciliations and prepare some journal entries Participate in the month-end and annual financial closing process Review Accounts Receivable Report and manage collection call process Oversee daily review of the company’s ACH banking activity Provide backup support to other members of the accounting team as required.Requirements Associates degree preferred 3+ years of related experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Prior experience with Accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
