This position is involved in the support and selection of technologies in all areas within the company. Areas currently include, Desktop PCs & applications, Networking, Telephony, Infor XA ERP, integration of Process Control data to/from network and all other possibilities moving forward. Assign tasks to IT team members and follow upthrough completion. Manage team’s attendance and scheduled time-off. Ensure maintenance contracts are in place for critical equipment (printers, barcode scanners, barcode printers, etc.). Manage cell phones, Phone Systems, Internetconnections, camera systems, wireless networks for all building and locations.
Interact with everyone from the production facility up to and including the President & CEO to understand the concerns, research and recommend technology equipment and software for the business. Work with the Special Project Coordinator to ensure users are trained properly in order to perform their duties as efficiently as possible and to make sure there is the appropriate documentation (Work Instructions) available for those who need it. Qualifications- Must have Infor XA experience. Currently at Release 9.2 and the running application modules include: Inventory/Materials Management, EPDM, OBPM, PC&C, PM&C, Procurement, Customer Service (CSM/COM), AM Plus (AR, AP, GL), VPi, Enterprise Integrator, and we are in the process of Implementing Paper-Less MES.
- Support Ignition SCADA software captures data from PLC devices in the Blending facility and transfers the data to MS-SQL DB which is read by IBM i.
