On-CallJob Description/Essential Functions:Purpose:

To provide support in a residential setting to individuals experiencing mental health crisis who do not pose

an immediate risk to their own or the safety of others

To assist individuals with learning to live and function as independently as possible in the community

To facilitate participation in the development and implementation of individual program plans and

coordination and arrangement of the provision of specialized services

Supervision Received:

Receives general and regular supervision from the Director, Crisis Residential Program; and may receive additional support and guidance from Mental Health Professional.

N/AJob Qualifications:Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalency and 3 years of mental health direct care experience or any

combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and

ability required. Other experience or education may be required by the credentialing body where

appropriate.

Knowledge of mental health systems and supports

Knowledgeable of privacy of information regulations and guidelines pertaining to their access, use, and disclosure requirements.

Good communication skills, both oral and written.

Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Scope:

Frequent talking and listening.

Manual dexterity.

Flexibility in scheduling and available to do 24-hour on-call coverage.

Must be able to push, pull, move, lift, carry fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop and bend which may include direct intervention with participants.

Local travel required, including transporting program participants.

May be required to report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather.
