This opportunity is an Individual Contributor who performs multiple assignments in support of repair and refurbishment. The person may perform electrical wiring, soldering and testing of assemblies; follows standard procedures and is closely supervised; and communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation. The role works under general direction with close supervision in which specific instructions are provided on all new assignments. Initial assignments are in a "training status" and all work is to be checked for quality and accuracy. Independent decision-making ability increases as experience is gained.This is an on-site position at our New Stanton location.Your Day to Day:Ability to comprehend semi-complex mechanical and/or electrical drawings, codes, schematics, manuals, blueprints and procedures, and record data in the required form.
Ability/knowledge of electrical equipment, electrical soldering skills, hand and power tool usage.
Apply knowledge of advanced electro-mechanical theory and components.
Install components, units, subassemblies and wiring.
Ability to Operate electrical/electronic test equipment.Who You Are:
High School Diploma/equivalent
Associates degree preferred
2 - 6 years relevant experience with demonstrated electrical and PCB skills. Specific knowledge of electrical, assembly, and wiring.
Preferred: Nuclear Industry experience.
Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and multitasking skills.
