Pay Rate: $28-$31/hr or more depending on experience!Shift: 1st shift, Mon through Thursday 6:30am to 5pm, + OT on Fri and Sat as needed.Description:Position includes installation of new equipment, test running new equipment in plant, repairs to existing equipment in the field etc. Individual should have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical. Must have own tools and be willing to travel. Ratio is approximately 40% in the shop, 60% travel to client sites. Traveling required about once a month and could consist of a few days to a week at a time. Travel expenses are covered.This company makes machinery and equipment for lumber industry. position requires mechanical assembly ability, must be able to read blueprints. This is a shop where they make a lot of unique, one-off type machines for woodworking and wood processing industry. Position requires the need to be able to be flexible and able to work on their own without much supervision. Very detail oriented type work, must be a skilled, experienced mechanic and assembler and able to do most tasks including mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic assembly in the service and repair of machinery
Position involves troubleshooting and figuring out reasons for a machine to not operate properly and be able to develop a game plane to fix it.
Position will be in the shop working in various departments including assembly while the new contractor becomes familiar with the company's products.
Candidate needs to be able to operate independently and have a wide range of electrical and mechanical knowledge.
