Final Packaging

Direct Hire Role On 3rd shiftJob Description:-Twisting and cabling.-Both positions involve taking spools of wire and running them through a re-spooler to make a new wire with multiple cables. -Position involves watching 8 different operations at once.-Requires following a Master Sheet to show what product needs run and what the schedule is for the shift as well as following a Process Sheet that shows how the material is to be run and the exact process to follow.-Position requires close attention to detail and ability to take measurements to insure quality and to document on a computer to record results.-Time management is critical as position involves moving from station to station to load/unload spools to feed the operation or to pull finish product off.-Will use manual pallet jack to move spools or will roll them (requires little effort to roll spools)-Final packaging is the station where bulk spools of wire are re-packed into smaller spools or boxes of wired per customer specs.-Position involves moving large spools of wire into position to feed into re-packager.-Candidate must always keep an eye on line to have another spool ready to go once the first one runs out of product.-Candidate will be going from back to front of the line to stack product on skids, make boxes, and other work associated with packing the final product.-Requires close attention to detail, computer experience to document product being packed, ability to move spools into position.MUST HAVES:-Attention to detail-Ability to follow a specific set of instructions-Ability to use computer to document and track production.About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
