Apply nowThis position is responsible for the safe, efficient production of refiner plates. Also accountable for the quality and timeliness of product through the supervision of 8-30 hourly employees. Maintains records to support the above responsibilities.Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

5-7 years manufacturing experience

Participate in and provide leadership to employees in support of the safety processes

Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and safety requirements

Develop and maintain good employee morale

Communicate and enforce company policies, vision, and procedures

Direct and supervise production activities including preparation for next shift

Maintain work area in accordance with 5S requirements and lean manufacturing concepts

Conduct and document new employee training, cross training, performance coaching, and reviews

Assist with annual goals and objectives

Meet or exceed product quality and on-time delivery standards

Develop and maintain records and reports within area of responsibility

Prepare maintenance work requests, coordinating with maintenance department

Complete all qualifications and trainings as required

Monitor inventory of raw materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, initiate purchase requisitions as required

Participate in activities to improve safety, quality, lead times, and costs

Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics

Ability to read, comprehend, communicate effectively (oral and written)

Ability to work any shift/schedule, as required
