Description An organization in the East of Pittsburgh is in need of an in-house payroll specialist.The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the following duties: Maintain accurate personnel records, process biweekly payroll, and ensure compliance with payroll regulations. Handle deductions, taxes, and garnishments and distribute payroll reports. Manage employee data, benefits, 401k, profit-sharing plans, health insurance, attendance, and PTO. Resolve discrepancies, handle new hires, terminations, and unemployment claims, and enter journal entries. Administer company credit card accounts, add/remove cardholders, review, reconcile, and resolve issues. Perform bank reconciliations, bookkeeping for small entities, and manage tax returns/reporting for municipalities. Payroll experience of under 100 Employees
Knowledge of Full Cycle Payroll and Multi-state Payroll
Proficient in Accounts Payable and Receivables
