Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty. Lutheran Service Society is a nonprofit human services provider with the mission to empower our neighbors to lead independent, dignified, and secure lives. Programs include adoption and foster care, Meals on Wheels, senior centers and affordable housing. Direct, coordinate and monitor all activities through a Senior Center. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field preferred or Associates Degree with commensurate experience Prior experience working with the elderly population. Organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures. Must have or be able to obtain the Safe Serve Certification within 60 days. Able to obtain certification in CPR and Basic First Aid. Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver’s license. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
