Description We are in search of a Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our HR procedures and processes. The HR assistant will work closely with HR professionals to assist in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and other HR-related activities.This role is 100% On-Site in Mifflinburg, PAMonday-Friday, full time hours, with flexible shift timesThis is a contract position to assist with an increase in businessResponsibilities: Assist in recruitment efforts by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and corresponding with candidates Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities, including paperwork completion and orientation logistics Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance records, and performance evaluations Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and diversity initiatives Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping activities Prepare HR-related documents, such as offer letters, employment contracts, and HR forms Organize and maintain HR files, both electronic and physical Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.Requirements Strong Customer Service, Administrative Assistant, or Receptionist skills Proficient in Scheduling activities and appointments Must have a strong understanding of HR functions and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
