Description Robert Half has a career-building opportunity for a Staff Accountant with experience and skill to join a company on a permanent basis. As Staff Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. Located in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area, this position is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity to work for a company that recognizes and rewards hard work.Major responsibilities of the Staff Accountant
Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers
Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries
Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Prepare monthly analysis and reports
Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process
Requirements
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
1 + year of relevant accounting experience
