JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:The Pennsylvania State University Harrisburg campus is seeking a candidate for an Associate Director for Graduate Admissions. As part of the Office of Enrollment Services, this position is responsible for the administration of graduate recruitment, admissions, and enrollment for Penn State Harrisburg’s Master’s and Doctoral programs. Responsible for oversight and leadership of Graduate Admissions Office staff. Additionally, c ontinual correspondence with prospective students, industry partners, applicants, continuing students, and alumni is an important part of this role. Responsibilities include:

Oversee operations of the Graduate Admissions Office. Hire, supervise, and mentor professional staff and graduate and undergraduate work-study students.

Develop plans for recruitment and implement events and projects for Graduate Programs.

Represent Graduate Programs at college graduate school fairs, events for industry partners, and campus events for students.

Collaborate with Director of Enrollment Management and staff on strategic planning for recruitment events and new programs.

Create and maintain a CRM system for Graduate Admissions.

Utilize CRM with prospects, current UG students, PSU graduate and UG alumni, and campus personnel at PSU and non-PSU institutions, to establish rapport, provide programmatic information, and influence decisions on applications.

Collaborate with departments to ensure the delivery of support services that assist applicants and students, in a timely manner throughout the admissions lifecycle: Bursar, Registrar, Financial Aid, International Student Services, Academic Units, World Campus, and Graduate Enrollment Services offices.

Work with the Marketing and Communications office to maintain content on website, in print, and digital media, regarding graduate programs and graduate events.

Typical Education:

5+ years related experience

Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
