Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
Creating web applications using React, Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), and SQL to provide service and data to users;
Developing domain classes and database access methods using Apache Thrift and Python;
Designing and developing applications using Visual Studio Code, PHP, Python, and JavaScript to meet functional needs for software applications;
Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing flowcharts and data flow diagrams;
Conducting unit testing of web services and web applications using Python unit tests;
Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development utilizing Python, pandas, and SQL; and
Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing Jira, test-driven development, Zoom, and Microsoft (MS) Teams.
