The Construction Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing the safety and compliance of all construction and demolition activities, ensuring adherence to EHS standards, conducting audits, providing safety training, and supporting the safe execution of projects from design through validation.location: Marietta, Pennsylvaniajob type: Contractsalary: $56.39 - 78.38 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:
Promote the highest levels of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance through the EHS Management System.
Support the development of a positive Site EHS Culture to reduce injuries, ill health and environmental harm.
Perform audits to monitor and improve the EHS Management System.
Develop and contribute to EHS strategies, plans, and procedures.
Identify and address EHS training needs.
Develop and deliver training packages to employees at all levels.
Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to enhance processes and equipment.
Skills:
Leadership, teamwork, and influencing abilities.
strong report writing and communication skills.
Ability to interpret standards, legislation, and monitoring data.
Familiarity with standard IT systems and safety reporting tools.
Education:
University Degree in a relevant field.
Construction Safety certifications (preferred).
Experience with EHS management in a Pharmaceutical or related environment.
