Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Staff - Public in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, United States. This role involves ensuring compliance and accuracy of financial records through performing audits primarily on nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive audits for nonprofit organizations and government institutions. Evaluating internal controls and suggesting potential enhancements. Analyzing financial statements and documents for honesty, accuracy, and legal compliance. Handling records of income, payroll, expenditures, and other financial data. Disclosing any irregularities in financial practices or records and recommending necessary actions. Crafting and presenting detailed reports on audit findings and improvement suggestions. Staying up-to-date with current legislation and auditing standards. Facilitating meetings with management to discuss audit results and advise on changes in operations and financial activities. Ensuring all accounting procedures adhere to government regulations. Using software tools such as Accounting Software Systems, Audit Program, CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax and others to efficiently perform auditing tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Experience in Audit Program is a must Familiarity with CaseWare software is essential Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax is necessary Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions Previous experience with Audit Engagements is required Must have a solid background in Auditing Experience in developing and executing Audit Plans is required Must have a good understanding of Budget Processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
