We are looking for a someone who is motivated and passionate. Someone that is flexible, willing to learn, detail-orientated, and reliable.
This position entails servicing and maintaining residential and commercial properties to enhance the lawn care and landscape beds through the use of spray equipment, including but not limited to: all varieties of pesticides, fertilizers, and soil amendments. This position is seasonal (March-November/December), and is 99% field work. There may be occasional overtime and weekend work (Spring and Fall) depending on our client’s needs.

Prepares truck and sprayer for proper use of applying pesticides, fertilizers, etc.
Properly identifies and diagnoses lawn issues from season to season, as well as remediations

Performs daily checklists of all equipment and vehicles, and follows all safety rules
Completes all client related documentation accurately and professionally
Maintains high quality of service measured by client retention and service callbacks
Generates leads for new and additional services within, and outside department
Exhibits calm professionalism in communications with coworkers and clients
Possessesa strongwork ethic and hasa track recordof being a dependable employee
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
2+ years in golf course, lawncare, athletic fields or other green related industry (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
Associate or Bachelor degree in Turf Science or Agronomy (preferred)
Valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain DOT certification if needed
PA Pesticide License (Categories 6,7,10) (willing to train)
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Works predominantly outdoors, with travel between jobs
Exposed to moderate outdoor equipment noise, pesticide handling, and temperature inversions.
Frequent standing, sitting, and fine motor skills required daily
Physical effort/lifting: daily; up to 10 pounds; repeatedly - up to 20 pounds; regularly - up to 50 pounds; occasional - over 50 pounds
Day shifts (early morning to mid afternoon)
Travel requirements are 1/3 to ½ of your day depending on your given route that day
