Description:
The Industrial Fleet Paint Technician is responsible for preparing, painting and finishing surfaces on manufactured equipment and associated parts. This position is responsible for ensuring quality painting and finishing, following safety protocols, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Primary Experience/Requirements:
2 years’ experience in auto or equipment painting
Pressure wash, clean, sand and mask equipment and parts for painting.
Basic comprehension of paint mix designs.
Ability and/or experience using pressure pots
Be comfortable painting from ladders
Read spec sheet and be able to mix paint
Great attention to detail
Must be able to work independently, with little supervision
Ability to multitask painting jobs and meet deadlines
General mechanical understanding
Familiar with EPA, DEP, Hazmat and OSHA regulations
Good verbal and written communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
Ability to bend, stoop, stretch and twist repeatedly. Including climbing up and down ladders, working from ladders, climbing in and out of equipment and working in confined spaces. Safely lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects 50 lbs or more.
