We are currently accepting applications for an Estimator to join our team! We are a small painting contractor, based in Landisville, that is family-oriented, forward-thinking and quickly growing. We take great pride in our quality painting crews and their performance. We partner with a number of local construction companies as well as numerous residential clients in the surrounding area. We have a part-time/full-time opening for a qualified Estimator with the opportunity for growth and scheduled pay increases. The position hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with earlier starts and overtime as needed to achieve deadlines and customer satisfaction. Compensation will depend on your experience and professionalism.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

Minimum of two years' experience in construction or related field (painting background a plus).

Able to analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documents needed to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates; doing take-offs.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills with attention to detail.

Displays effective, well-mannered communication and interpersonal skills; is responsive.

Able to collaborate with PM's, engineers, subcontractors, and be part of the team.

Shows respect for customers, other team members, and their properties.

Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors; identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Cultivate relationships to obtain new customers; attend trade-related events.

Visit project sites to verify blueprint information on materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related needs.

Adjust estimates as needed with project changes.

Prepare final proposal estimates and submit in a timely manner.

Attend project meetings as required.

Has a current driver's license.

Comply with all company policies and procedures.
