About the Role:
Lapp Electric is seeking an experienced commercial electrician—ideally with journeyman or foreman experience—to join their team as a Project Manager. In this role, you’ll lead electrical projects from start to finish, building strong customer relationships, ensuring timely and efficient completion, and upholding Lapp’s high standards of service.
This position requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and sales acumen to scope, bid, and execute projects successfully. You’ll manage goals, timelines, budgets, and job site teams, all while maintaining safety standards and delivering top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee electrical projects, ensuring they’re completed on time and within budget.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact.
Scope, bid, and execute projects, ensuring accurate estimates and clear communication.
Lead job site teams, offering direction and support as needed.
Manage project planning, material procurement, cost control, and scheduling.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motor controls and PLC operations.
Maintain safety standards and enforce company policies on-site.
Review blueprints, wiring schematics, and project plans.
Train and mentor team members to foster growth and excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
10–15 years of commercial electrical experience, with deep knowledge of electrical codes.
Journeyman, Master Electrician, or equivalent foreman-level experience (preferred).
Proven ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics.
Strong leadership, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in variable conditions, and be on your feet for 8–10 hours per day.
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
