Building Material Sales
Seeking full-time sales associate with experience in the building industry.
Industry knowledge, product line familiarity and the overall building - contractor process. Main responsibilities would include selling the building materials to customers. Maintain customer relationships and develop new ones. Work with contractors and homeowners alike. Estimate quantity of materials needed to complete projects. Work with yard to coordinate deliveries and work through any issues that may arise during the course of the project. This is an in person position. No remote work.
Ideal candidate would possess:
Knowledge of building materials and building practices
Experience in blueprint reading and material takeoffs from blueprints
Retail experience, particularly in a home center, lumberyard, or hardware store setting
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
Time management and planning skills
Computer experience: typing, sending/receiving emails, use of internet
Friendly, honest, team player who takes pride in their work
