Commercial Van Solutions (CVS) is a fabricator/builder of commercial van interiors to meet the demands of our customer business needs. We put our experienced professionals to work for our customers to plan, organize, and upfit vans for any of their business needs. We upfit new or existing vans with commercial grade shelving, partitions, ladder racks, power equipment, safety, cabinets, drawer units and more. CVS also constructs customized refrigerated vans and limo/shuttle vans.

We are currently seeking a Parts Assistant to help manage our inventory and to write up customer orders.

The Parts Assistant will be responsible for handling the shipping, receiving, stocking, distribution and ordering of basic inventory parts. This position will also write vehicle upfit and repair orders as directed by the sales department.

Job Duties Include:

Manages the parts/products inventory, including receiving, stocking and shipping of inventory.

Pulls and fills orders from stock.

Refers to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic) to identify the right part(s) for vehicles being upfitted and order some of the basic inventory.

Writes up customer’s vehicle orders accurately and clearly.

Checks on progress of vehicle upfit or repair throughout the day.

Reviews orders to ensure that the work is completed, and additional work and authorizations are noted.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience managing physical inventory of parts in an organization

Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge preferred

Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products

Ability to manage priorities and workflow

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Knowledge of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation and numbering systems

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees

Knowledge of basic math

Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check

Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30AM to 4:00PM
