The Process/Inventory Coordinator will provide process improvements to safely meet the Lancaster Mill business plan by providing support to production department to achieve plant goals. Manage Raw Material supply from receipt to consumption.

Assist and lead production, technical and maintenance with various types of equipment and process issues from a process perspective.

As projects are deemed necessary, position will coordinate with Engineering Department. The position reports directly to the Cast House Superintendent but has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Finance department on projects.Key Objectives

LEADERSHIP PERFORMANCE:

Support the team in safely producing the highest quality product in accordance with plant standards.

Coach in a team environment utilizing Arconic Supervisory Excellence (ASE) principles and Human and Organizational Performance principles (HP).

Provide sound recommendations for long-term improvement of process by remaining up to date with Best Practices and through consultation with the MTE group.

Responsible for identifying process deficiencies and driving improvements.

Participate in the annual development of the plant's three-year budget process

Participate on core cross-functional project team to assist in managing projects.Project Management:

Manage Incoming Raw Material Inventory and processes Including piece counts on a regular basis, enforce and audit physical segregation of raw material, daily reconciliation/audit of charge tickets with metal sheets as well as with AS400 entries, and monitor dryer bay metal level

Participate in the recommendation of vendors and related work scope

Participate in pre-job meetings.

Generate appropriate work orders requesting assistance from maintenance PRODUCTION SYSTEMS:

Monitor, track and report Inventory related to Prime, Raw Materials, Internal and External Revert and Scrap.

Monitor, track and report key reliability and machine efficiency metrics to identify opportunities for equipment and process improvements.

Promote and practice Arconic Business System concepts and philosophies

Lead the development of the corrective actions and problem solving for issues related to inventory reliability and machine efficiency.

Responsible for ensuring appropriate content of related SOP's for the area.

Monitor all process improvement activities and take action to capture savings in the DI System.

Attend and report on department projects regarding reliability

Assist Maintenance with yearly Cast House Process Water Cleaning

Monitor and Manage Cast House Production PM's

Assist with Yearly Plant Physical Inventory TEAM DEVELOPMENT:

Active presence on the floor to support team in areas of reliability and machine efficiency.

Attend team meeting to support the team in areas of reliability and machine efficiency.

Rewards and recognizes teams.

Facilitates process and machine equipment training for Team members, Star Points, and assigned area personnel.

Provide process expertise to team and serve as a problem-solving resource. RISK MANAGEMENT:

Work safely, practicing and promoting safety consciousness through Human Performance principles.

Drives the use of Human Performance tools for process improvements.

Accountable for area process changes to ensure product quality is maintained, managing and controlling risks to safety and process integrity. Communicates process changes to affected personnel outside of the production area.

Understand and apply Arconic Engineering Standards.OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS:

Follows all policies, procedures, and EHS requirements.

Performs other duties as requested by management.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Preferred Qualifications

2 years' experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.

Associates degree in technical field or equivalent of 8 years in manufacturing experience, preferably in an aluminum rolling mill.

Strong mechanical/electrical and process aptitude preferred.

Demonstrates good computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Working knowledge of Casting, Rolling, and Finishing Technology (as appropriate by area).

Knowledge of Process Management and VPM.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
