We are seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources who will play a key role as an influential and strategic business partner, aligning HR practices with our organizational goals. The preferred candidate will successfully navigate business functions within stores, warehouse operations and corporate offices. In addition to leading a team of generalists and a recruiter, this individual will have experience as an agile HR generalist; providing exceptional support in a variety of areas, including employee relations, recruitment, talent assessment and compliance; working seamlessly across departments to achieve established goals.

Responsibilities:

Ability to successfully engage with leaders and employees; with an in depth understanding of different business functions

Collaborate with leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable HR strategies

Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, promoting open and honest conversations, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Design and implement training programs that enhance skills, boost productivity and align with our Mission and Core Values.

Develop recruitment plans that attract top talent while maintaining cost-effectiveness

Implement performance evaluation process that drives employee growth and contribute to the success of our business and Mission.

Support the HR Generalists as necessary in day-to-day operations, training and career growth

Assists in benefit administration as it relates to providing information and training on benefit package, enrollment and termination from policies

Provide oversite and support to the corrective action and termination process

Stay up-to-date on legal and regulatory changes in order to create, review and/or revise policies to ensure our employment practices remain ethical and compliant.

QualificationsJOB SPECIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and five years of relevant work and supervisory experience; or a combination of education and experience that enables individual to meet job expectations, standards and goals.

SPHR/PRH or SHRM-SCP/CP certification required.

Ability to work maturely with wide variety of confidential information and data.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people at various levels of the organization.
