Description We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as a Bookkeeper. This position offers a contract employment opportunity in the financial industry, focusing on meticulous data handling and account management. Responsibilities: Manage and process customer credit applications with precision and speed Maintain customer credit records, ensuring their accuracy and up-to-date status Handle customer inquiries related to credit and resolve them promptly Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate action for overdue payments Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial records are consistent Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Conduct bank reconciliations periodically to ensure financial integrity Maintain bookkeeping records and perform data entry tasks Use Microsoft Excel for financial data management and month-end close activities Handle payroll activities and use QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.If interested, please send resume on a word document to Jim.Kirk@Roberthalf com Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation Experience in managing accounts payable (AP) Experience in managing accounts receivable (AR) Ability to perform bank reconciliations Strong bookkeeping skills Data entry skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in month end close processes Experience in payroll management Proficiency in QuickBooks software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
