Associate Scientist - Viral Safety

Job Summary: Eurofins Viral Safety is seeking an entry level Associate Scientist to join their team in Lancaster, PA.Hours: Sunday - Thursday 8am-5pmJob duties include, but are not limited to:Perform aseptic tissue culture techniques such as expansion and seeding of adherent and suspension tissue culture lines, including numerous mammalian and insect culture cell lines.Perform common lab skills include microscopy, aseptic media preparation, mechanical pipetting, serial dilution preparations, and basic calculations including the use of Excel spreadsheets.Perform virology techniques including inoculation of tissue culture systems with various model viruses, plaque assays, focus assays, and other secondary techniques such as hemagglutination/hemadsorption assays and immunofluorescence stainingReview and evaluate raw data for acceptabilitySet up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the departmentDocument work as required for GMP compliance
