Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing work by studying assembly instructions, positioning parts, and verifying specifications. This role involves working with hand tools and power tools, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. The position requires full-time availability and the ability to work overtime as needed.Responsibilities
Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Position parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements.
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.
Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Document actions by completing production and quality forms, logging labor hours.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and use a measuring tape
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
Reliable transportation
Willingness to work full-time and overtime
Availability to work 1st shift starting at 5 am or 6 am
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or labor
Familiarity with tape measures and assembly processes
