This position reports directly to the agency Fiscal Officer 3 and performs using the fiscal department Child Accounting & Profile System, scanning database, and Windows Office operating systems.Tasks include tracking in home service contracts to ensure providers charge correct rates and stay within annual contract budgets. You assist the Fiscal Officer and quality assurance department in contract monitoring process, with an audit requirement which ensures providers are offering valuable services, invoicing accurately, and adhering to contract obligations. Also, you verify that federal funding requirements are met on client-by-client basis and facilitates corresponding prevention funds reimbursement. Other duties include, but are not limited to collaboration with other fiscal technicians, caseworkers, and other employees as required by daily functions.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as a Fiscal Assistant or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or

One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training
